Mamá Framboise is an iconic Pâtisserie and Salon De Thé in Madrid for its macaroons, tarts and pastries. Following its success, Mamá Framboise has recently opened a new location on Paseo Eduardo Dato 13. This new place is dog friendly just as the others ones on Fernando VI, Jorge Juan y Narváez.
Pâtisserie is an art mastered and reinvented by Alejandro Montes; Chef Pâtissier, Maître Chocolatier and founder; who has won several awards for his savoir-faire. Alejandro Montes wanted to bring gastronomic pâtisserie to the capital, this was the beginning Mamá Framboise. Through his creations Alejandro Montes shares with others his childhood memories and those moments that are so special to him.
Mamá Framboise on Eduardo Dato has a lovely terrace and you can find a bowl of water at the entrance to welcome their dog guests. During our visit Timón was also kindly given a special biscuit.
The patisserie follows the same interior theme as the others , meaning that they incorporated vintage toys as decorating elements to the place. A colourful pâtisserie to seat in and enjoy some pastries accompanied by their iced teas.
From the menu, I ordered the healthy Alphonso and the healthy cheesecake with the particularity that they are gluten free. Mango is the main ingredient for the making of the healthy Alphonso, such as red fruits are for cheesecake. In both desserts the fruits can be tasted through various textures such as cream, gelée and mousse.
Those two cakes are ones of my favourites with the coco bongo for its summer flavors and mix of textures – iced teas and desserts to try in any of the Mamá Framboise with your dog.
